            развитие мышления, памяти;

            активизация учебно-познавательной коммуникативной деятельности учащихся;

            развитие лингвистических способностей.

 Before you listen to the article look at the blackboard and read the title of it (Facebook Creator is Time Person of the Year (16th December, 2010)).You can predict some of the words (verbs, nouns, adjectives) which you will find in the text.
