Scientific Sensations (form 11)

( урок закрепления изученного материала)

Цель: Создать условия для активизации познавательной и коммуникативной деятельности по теме “Научные сенсации”.

Задачи: 1. образовательная – - создать условия для обеспечения в ходе урока повторение и закрепление ЛЕ по теме «Наука или выдумка» в новой ситуации

2. воспитательные — создать условия для формирования уважительного отношения друг к другу при защите проектов, а также при фронтальной работе и работе в парах


3. развивающие — создать условия для развития положительных эмоций, самостоятельности, используя при этом различные ситуации и творческие задания

- организовать развитие поискового чтения и умения давать презентацию;

-развивать у учащихся умение логически излагать свои мысли и рефлексивные умения


          1. практические — создать условия для организации тренировки в таких видах речевой деятельности как ayдирование, чтение и говорение с использованием речевых и зрительных опор

Оборудование: интерактивная доска, электронные презентации Power Point, вербальные опоры, название темы, карточки для аудирования, клише для выражения своего мнения, карточки для рефлексии и постановки целей урока.

I Приветствие (ситуация ученик-учитель и ученик-ученик)

Sensation is a wonderful and stunning impression because of a special event and it can be an event which provokes such feelings.

Invention is something that is invented. It is a discovery of a new thing.

Presentation (Maria): “Dear classmates, I’d glad to show you my presentation”

  1. People have been searching for extraterrestrials for years but there is no real proof that they exist.

  2. From the very beginning of searching “flying saucers” in the early 1950s Hollywood cinema screens inhabited disc-shaped flying objects.

  3. In different countries there are mane initiative organizations and enthusiasts deal with recording and analysis of UFO phenomena, it takes place in Kosmopoisk, in Russia.

  4. The official scientific community of the world has a broad program of Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence SETI.

  5. Despite the fact that UFOs are watched everywhere, there are some areas where it happens most often. These areas are called “windows”.

  6. There are 2 kinds of UFO objects. “Solid objects” mean aliens have the form of solids, i.e. something consisting of the substance.

  7. Soft objects” mean something doesn’t consist of substances, in particular, a mysterious glow, mist with unusual properties or lights.

  8. Scientists can give an explanation for some cases of searching UFOS. In such cases we speak about identified flying object. We know that there are cases when extraterrestrials are the result of misinformation or ordinary jokes.
