                Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку в 6 классе.

            Сценарий проведения внеклассного мероприятия по английскому языку в 

              6 классе “Enjoy English” (на базе УМК “Enjoy English”, М.З. Биболетовой).

Цели и задачи:

1.   Развивать творческие способности учащихся, умение их грамотно демонстрировать и применять в учебном процессе.

2.        Стимулировать учебную мотивацию школьников, развивать умение работать в команде, коммуникативную грамотность, внимательность и умение слушать и уважать собеседника.
Учебные пособия:
Карточки со скороговорками, карточки с зашифрованным письмом, карточки с грамматическими и лексическими заданиями, карточки с именами и профессиями (для конкурса болельщиков), презентации по теме «Достопримечательности Англии», листы ватмана и цветные карандаши (для конкурса художников).

Ход мероприятия:

1. Организационный момент.

Boys and girls,
I’m very glad to see you here. We’ll organize a competition called “Enjoy English”. Four teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1^st team?

• I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is … . Our motto is … .
• Who is the captain of the 2^nd team?
• I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is … . Our motto is … .

- Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. I have invited a competent jury to count the points. The members of our jury are …
Well, the game has 8 contests, they are:

1. tongue-twisters

2. “sweet” words
3. proverbs
4. artists’ competition
5. the right choice
6. a mystery note
7. a grammar competition
8. riddles
9. A magic bag
   So let’s start our competition. I wish you good luck, do your best! Be active, honest and helpful! The award will be splendid, believe me. 
   2. Основной этап.
   
   1).We’ll begin our competition with tongue-twisters. There is a card with a tongue-twister, a person from each team should read it as quickly as he can 3 times. Each team can get 3 points. You have one minute to be ready for reading. First listen to me… And now you have one minute to train it.
   
   She sells shells on the sea shore. The shells she sells are sea shore shells.
   
   2).The next contest. 

• The next contest will be for captains. 
• At the same time your teams will do another task. I’ll give you a card with English and Russian proverbs. Match the proverbs with the same meaning. 

You have four minutes to do it. (готовое задание проверяет жюри).
You can get one point for each right answer (11 points)

3).The next task. 

• Take a sheet of paper, pencils and be ready to draw a picture. Listen to me very attentively, I’ll read it twice and then you’ll draw. You can get 8 points.

There is a big house in the middle of the picture. The house is yellow with a red roof. There are two windows in the house and one door. To the left of the house there is a green tree. To the right of the house there are two flowers. One flower is red, the second flower is blue .Under the tree there is a black dog. In the tree there is a fat cat.

Draw the picture. You have only four minutes.

• At the same time our fans will have their own task. Your task will be to match the names with the occupation.

You can get 1 point for each right answer. (10 points)
