Theme: My family. Менің отбасым.
1. Educational: Talking about family relationships.
To enrich students’ knowledge on the theme; to widen their vocabulary through doing
different tasks; to introduce and fixing of new vocabulary on the topic «My family».
Learn to use Possessive adjectives: my, his, her, its, our, their and possessive ‘s.
2. Developmental: To develop student’s skills in oral speech; to develop student’s writing, reading and speaking abilities through giving several tasks; to improve their mental and critical thinking.
3. Cultural: To bring up students to respect and love foreign language.
Visual aids: book, copybook, workbook, CD disc, cards, different tasks on the sheets, pictures of family members and interactive board.
The Procedure of the lesson:
I. The org. moment (1 мин)
Good morning pupils! ------Good morning teacher!
How are you today? --------- Ok! Fine! Great!
Sit down please.
What date is it today? ----Today is 7th of October.
What day is it today? --------It is Friday.
II. Home task. (5 мин) Today we will talk about Family. We will do different tasks with reading, listening, make up sentences and sing a song.
Before that, let’s revise what we learned in our last lessons. Let’s do some exercise.
Task 1. Match the words in A with the words in B.

is your favourite film star?
Task 2. Complete the sentences with personal pronouns he, she, we, you, they.
1. Is _____ happy? 2. _____’re sad. 3. Are _____ cold?

ІІІ. New theme. (3 мин)
So now, kids I have some pictures with members. You should take this pictures. Now read a word in your pictures and tick there.
So, what you are seeing on this postcard. Yes, it’s today’s our new theme. So, what we are going to talk about? Yes, that’s right, about family. Today’s our new theme: “My family”.
Now, I want you to take this colour cards. I’ll divide you into 3 groups. Red colour will the first group, green colour is second group and blue colour is third group.
Children tell me please what is family? How do understand this word?
Is your family big or small? Name the members of your family?
IV. Phonetic drill. (1 мин)
As usually let’s do the exercise for our tongue and transcription sign. Listen and repeat after me. And then you will read the poem.

Write the names of some people in your family.
