речевых навыков по теме «Реклама»; развитие умений читать и аудировать с целью
полного понимания текстов. Повторить грамматические структуры с –ed
и прилагательными с ing - окончанием

с мнениями британских и российских подростков о роли рекламы в их жизни;

урока:
I. The beginning of the
lesson. Greeting the class. Introducing the theme and the aims of the lesson. (3)
T. Hello
dear boys and girls! Glad to see you! Today we have an unusual lesson. That’s
why you have an excellent chance to show how you know English. We are
going to work individually and in groups.
Let’s
listen to music! (Tunes of famous adverts)
T. Do
you recognize these tunes?

II.
Warm up. (5)
T. You
are right. Look at the screen. You can see quotes. Read them and think of what
they are about and what the subject of our lesson is.
“The
best advertisement is a good product” (Alan Meyer – American advertising
executive).
“Advertisement
is the mover of the trade” folk wisdom.
“Advertising
is the tool of the seller that helps him to affect you and make buy his good. Any
advertisement won’t help to sell the thing that is impossible to sell” (from
Parkinson’s lows).

I think the subject of our lesson is advertisement.

OK. Today we are going to discuss the problems of advertisement, its advantages
and disadvantages. You’ll have an opportunity to use your lexical and
grammatical knowledge in new situations.

what British teenagers wrote about advertisement and decide which of them
are for TV advertising and which are against. Ex.1a p.31, and fill the table.

in 2 groups. The first group will protect ads. The second group
is their opponents. Their task is to give bad points. Good luck!

The best thing of TV is the adverts. Some of them are wonderful –really funny.
To be honest, I like them more then the programs.

In adverts kids are always healthy, happy and well-off. That’s not true! All
the woman seem to be beautiful and slim. All the teenagers seem to have
wonderful time at parties and at school. But that’s not true at all.

As for me it is the time to rush to the refrigerator. I prepare a snack and
come back just in time for the start of the film. I hope that the sponsors
aren’t counting on me to buy their products

facts about ads in the Internet and write down these facts in the third column

pupils! I’d like to thank you for your work. You were really great! You have
worked hard and have come to different conclusions about ads. But I think
advertising is a part of our life. We must admit the fact that sometimes ads
help to choose something.
