Приветствие.
Проблематизация.
На экране
«коллаж» - необычные легко узнаваемые места в разных частях нашей планеты,
виды транспорта (слайд 1). Учащиеся внимательно рассматривают коллаж и
отвечают на вопросы:
Why do people travel? How do they travel? What is the most comfortable
means of travelling? What places on our planet have you already visited? Have
you ever been to any unusual places? How did you get there? Ответы на вопросы и обсуждение.
Совместная формулировка темы урока.
-I want you to guess what we are going to discuss today.
The topic of the lesson will be mystic places on our
planet and what makes them so unusual.
Далее урок проходит в виде виртуального
путешествия по необычным местам на нашей земле.
Task 1 -
Look at the pictures (p138 ex. 2), which places can you
easily recognize? What are they famous for?
The students discuss the pictures using the key
words/phrases and share their knowledge about these places. Then they read
the texts and check their knowledge.
Task 2-
Ask and answer the questions using the key
words/phrases:
