Potholing is the sport of climbing down inside large holes which go deep underground in a rocky country.

Rafting is an activity using a raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water. This is usually done on whitewater or different degrees of rough water, in order to thrill and excite the raft passengers. The development of this activity as a leisure sport has become popular since the mid 1970's.

Rock climbing, broadly speaking, is the act of ascending steep rock formations. Normally, climbers use gear and safety equipment specifically designed for the purpose. Strength, endurance, and mental control are required to cope with tough, dangerous physical challenges, and knowledge of climbing techniques and the use of essential pieces of gear and equipment are crucial.

Scuba diving is using self-contained breathing equipment to stay underwater for periods of time greater than human breath-holding ability allows. The diver carries all equipment necessary for diving and is not reliant upon equipment elsewhere (e.g. on the surface) to supply breathing gas or other support during the dive.

Skydiving is also called parachuting. It’s jumping from an airplane with parachute which is used for slowing descent to the ground after jumping from an airplane or other high place.

Surfing is a surface water sport in which the participant is carried by a breaking wave on a surfboard.

In British English, abseiling (from the German abseilen, "to rope down") is the process of descending on a fixed rope.

Bungee jumping (or bungy jumping) is an activity in which a person jumps off from a high place (generally several hundred meters up) with one end of an elastic cord attached to his/her body or ankles and the other end tied to the jumping-off point. When the person jumps, the cord stretches to absorb the energy of the fall, then the jumper flies upwards again as the cord snaps back. The jumper oscillates up and down until all the energy is dissipated.

Auto racing (also known as automobile racing, autosport or motorsport) is a sport involving racing automobiles. Auto racing began in France in 1895 and is now one of the world's most popular spectator sports.

Mountaineering is the sport, hobby or profession of walking, hiking and climbing up mountains. It is also sometimes known as alpinism, particularly in Europe. It may be said to consist of three aspects: rock-craft, snow-craft and skiing, depending on whether the route chosen is over rock, snow or ice.
