Слайд 3
Даша: Remember!
In centuries,
In years – remember!
About those,
Who has never come,
Настя Remember!
Do not cry!
In a throat, you must restrain groans,
Bitter groans.
Карина Be worthy of heroes!
Be eternally worthy!
Даша A lot of poems and songs are devoted to the
Great Patriotic War and we would like to remind you one of them by Константин Симонов.
1.
Wait for me, and I'll come back!
Wait with all you've got!
2.Wait, when dreary yellow rains
Tell you, you should not.
3.Wait when snow is falling fast,
Wait when summer's hot,
4.Wait when yesterdays are past,
Others are forgot.
5.Wait, when from that far-off place,
Letters don't arrive.
6.Wait, when those with whom you wait
Doubt if I'm alive.

Тhe Great Patriotic War
was over seventy- five years ago, but it is a kind of war which has no time limitation
neither in the history of Russia nor in the soul of Russian people. Its echo is
still in our hearts.
Ариша
Some years ago on the eve of the Victory Day we had a
lesson devoted to this great event where my classmates told about their
great-grandparents who defended selflessly the honor of our country. This
lesson encouraged me to find out more about my relatives taking part in the
World War II. My girlfriends were eager to help me. When I came home after
classes I asked my dad to tell me about my relatives who took part in the War.
My dad took an old album and showed me a photo. I could see a young man wearing
a military uniform. The first thing I noticed were his intelligent and kind
eyes. It was the photo of my great-grandfather.
Настя Иосиф
Михайлович
was
born on the 16th November in the village of Shekmino. After leaving
school in 1939 he entered tank and technical college in Leningrad and then
continued his education in Kiev. After graduating in 1940 he was sent to district
of Забайкалье for
serving.
Ариша
In
1941 the Great Patriotic War began.
His regiment took part
in the battle of Stalingrad. It was one of the bloodiest and most important
battles of the Great Patriotic War. More than 2 million people, 2 thousand
tanks and 2 thousand planes took part in it. My great-grandfather was a
tanker. He didn’t like big words, because he was a private soldier. But he
often said :”We defended our Motherland, our relatives, our children, we wanted
to come back alive, and we didn’t hide behind comrades’ backs’’. But Stalingrad
has not fallen to the enemy.
Даша In this slide you can see Иосиф
Михайлович and his best friend, brother
in arms. They shared their foods and provided goods, clothes and other
necessary things with hungry families and the population of Leningrad,
the victims of the siege. He told that his friend was a great singer.
Ариша My
grandpa finished the War in East Prussia in 1946 as a captain. I consider
that special pride of my grandpa are his orders and medals. Look
at this photo. You can see the Order of Red Star that he got for his heroic
deeds and the medal for victory over Germany.
Having come home he married my greatgranny Зинаида
Никаноровна. They had the only child, my granny Галина
Иосифовна.
In 1947 my greatgrandfather became the chairman of Пайгусово trade
union. His office workers remembered him as a hardworking, sociable and very
persistent person. They were awarded several times by government of the Mari
republic.
He died long before I was born, but my dad told me a lot of
interesting facts about him. I have got the information from my close and
distant relatives, watching the family photo albums, the Internet, looking for
the statistics, researching our local archive.
Thanks to my family I am aware of what it means to
keep memory of your ancestors. I am proud of my greatgrandfather and feel true
appreciation and gratitude for what he did for us. I am happy that I have
something special to tell about the Great Patriotic War to my children when I
grow up.
Карина In
order to avoid such wars again we must keep peace of the planet. Let’s sing
about it.
Bright blue the sky,
Sun up on high-
That was the little boy’s picture.
He drew for you,
Wrote for you too,
Just to make clear what he drew-
Chorus:
May there always be sunshine,
May there always be blue skies,
May there always be Mummy,
May there always be me! (Twice) n order to avoid
such wars again we must keep peace of the planet.
