Цели урока:

развитие коммуникативной социолингвистической компетенции по теме «Каникулы. Путешествия. Досуг»



Учебные задачи урока:

1) активизация употребления лексического материала по теме;

2) развитие коммуникативных навыков в режиме диалогического и монологического высказывания;

3) развитие навыков письменной речи.



Социокультурные и воспитательные задачи урока:

1) расширение кругозора;

2) развитие умения начала и ведения диалога;

3) формирование умения представлять свою страну и ее достопримечательности в иноязычном социолингвистическом диалоге.



Оборудование:

1) компьютер

2) мультимедийное обеспечение

3) презентация в формате Power Point

I. Организационный момент. Прогнозирование темы урока.

II. Лексико-речевая разминка « Виды транспорта. Виды путешествий».

III. Активизация употребления лексики по теме:

  1. Reading activity.

  2. Matching activity.

IV. Развитие умения самостоятельно применять изученный материал. V. Совершенствование коммуникативных навыков в форме учебного ситуативного диалога.

VI. Развитие навыков письменной речи.

VII. Игровая физкультпауза.

VIII. Развитие навыков ведения диалога по ситуации «Приглашение к действию».

IX. Совершенствование навыков аудирования.

X. Рефлексия и подведение итогов.

XI. Домашнее задание.

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Прогнозирование темы урока. Predicting the theme.

Look at the pictures, listen to the song and decide what we are going to speak about today.

II. Лексико-речевая разминка « Виды транспорта. Виды путешествий». A warm up «Means of transport. Types of holidays».

  1. Ex. 1. Presentation. Match the type of a holiday to its picture.



  1. Ex. 2. Presentation. Think how people can travel and make up a sentence.

III. Активизация употребления лексики по теме:

1) Reading activity.

Look at page 116, find and read adverts about different tours. Read the information about the children in exercise 3 and say where the children will go.

  1. Matching activity.

Ex. 3. Presentation. Think what types of activities we can experience on a tour. Match the verb and the types of activity. Then make up sentences.

IV. Развитие умения самостоятельно применять изученный материал.

Ex. 4. Presentation. Create your advert about a tour to Moscow or St. Petersburg and present it to us.

V. Совершенствование коммуникативных навыков в форме учебного ситуативного диалога.

Find exercise 4 page 116. Read the example. Pretend you would like to travel abroad this summer, visit a travel agency and ask for information. One will be a travel agent and one will be a tourist.

VI. Развитие навыков письменной речи.

Ex. 5. Presentation. Write a letter from Washington back home. Put the parts of the letter in order.

VII. Игровая физкультпауза.

Think of your favourite type of activity on holiday. Show/ Demonstrate it silently/ without any word to us. The pupils should guess.



VIII. Развитие навыков ведения диалога по ситуации «Приглашение к действию». Speaking activity:

Ex. 6. Presentation. Invite your friend to join you in your favourite activity. Your friend should accept or refuse the invitation as in the example.



IX. Совершенствование навыков аудирования.



X. Рефлексия и подведение итогов. Summаry .

Think what you can speak about now after this lesson .

Tell if it is interesting or boring to speak about holidays.



XI. Домашнее задание. Homework:

1) to write a letter from your tour

2) to describe the photos from your tour
