  Any person may need to measure the length of the distance from the place he stands to the definite object. For example, If a tourist wants to study new places. For this case it’s better and exact to use special means (laser range – finder, range – finder scales of optic devices etc.), but such special means can’t present at that moment. That is why at that situations can be used a watch. Wristwatch can be used to define the width of the difficult traverse or to define none access full places and obstacles (rivers, lakes and marshes). This is the main actuality of this topic.

  Make the clock pattern so that the hands of the clock show 3 hours exactly, and the second hand would be 7 minutes and a half minutes from the minute hand.

  Д - length of one step in meters
  Р - height of a person in meters.
  Total, my height of 1.48 m, means the length of my step
  Д=1,48:4+0,37=0,74 м.

  This means the measurement error: +-5м.

  While measuring we learnt that the result that is not exact and it was given as an interval. Firstly it depends on the weather of the day: cold, wind, fog.
