Урок по теме «Choosing a profession. The job of your dreams»

Цель урока: развивать навыки монологической речи по теме «Выбор профессии», совершенствовать лексические навыки и расширить лексический запас учащихся.

Задачи урока:

Образовательные: развивать навыки монологической устной и письменной речи; активизировать ранее изученную лексику по теме «Профессия и успех» в устной и письменной речи; развивать навыки умения общаться на английском языке.

Развивающие: развивать интеллектуальные способности учащихся; формировать умение выделять главное, сравнивать и анализировать.

Воспитательные: развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления, содействовать профориентации учащихся, формировать потребности в практическом использовании языка.

I этап: Организация начала урока.

Задача: Мотивация учебной деятельности, постановка цели.

1.            Приветствие. Сообщение целей и задач урока.

o      Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? I'm glad to see you.

What date (day, season, weather) is it today

o      I think it will be fine to listen to the song “People song” (видео)

o      What are we going to talk about?

o      So, the topic of our discussion is Choosing a profession. And we are going to talk about different jobs; future career; top careers of the future (слад 1)

1.            The first point of our plan is “different professions” What professions do you know? Name them, please.

2.            Активизация использования лексики. Игра «Угадай профессию»

Now it`s time for a guessing-game “What profession is it?” I`ll describe you a profession and you will give me the word. Here are some professions: journalist, bricklayer, architect, fashion designer, conductor, manager, accountant, sports instructor, cashier, programmer, decorator, car mechanics, physicist, interpreter, pharmacist (слайд 2)

 Listen to the definition of professions, try to guess and name them.

5.            someone who gets cash or pays out money in a shop

3.                 Now it is your turn to describe jobs. Let’s check your homework. Read your description, and your classmates should guess the job you have describe.
