Цель урока: развивать навыки монологической речи по теме «Выбор профессии»,
совершенствовать лексические навыки и расширить лексический запас учащихся.
Задачи урока:
Образовательные: развивать навыки монологической устной и письменной
речи; активизировать ранее изученную лексику по теме «Профессия и успех» в
устной и письменной речи; развивать навыки умения общаться на английском языке.
Развивающие: развивать интеллектуальные способности учащихся;
формировать умение выделять главное, сравнивать и анализировать.
Воспитательные: развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления,
содействовать профориентации учащихся, формировать потребности в практическом
использовании языка.
I этап: Организация начала урока.
Задача: Мотивация учебной деятельности, постановка цели.

Приветствие.
Сообщение целей и задач урока.

Choosing a profession. And we are going to talk about different jobs; future career; top careers of the

Задача: активизация знаний, развитие аналитического мышления и творческих
способностей учащихся.

The first point of our plan is
“different professions” What professions do you know? Name them, please.

использования лексики. Игра «Угадай профессию»
Now it`s time for a guessing-game “What profession is
it?” I`ll describe you a profession and you will give me the word. Here are
some professions: journalist, bricklayer, architect, fashion designer,
conductor, manager, accountant, sports instructor, cashier, programmer,
decorator, car mechanics, physicist, interpreter, pharmacist (слайд 2)
Listen to the definition of professions, try to guess
and name them.

Now it is your turn to
describe jobs. Let’s check your homework. Read your description, and your
classmates should guess the job you have describe.

variety of jobs. Is it easy to choose a job? Now let’s imagine that you are a
school career adviser. Say what job you would recommend these school leavers to

Have you chosen you future
job? Do you think about this problem? Each the 11th form student
thinks a lot about it, because their future life depends on this choice. Look
at the screen and read and translate the poem “I want to be” (слайд 8)

5. There are
many reasons why a person chooses his job. Read the joke on page 46 ex. 1.
6. You are
the students of the 11th form. In 6 months you will graduate from
the school. So it is a time to think about your future job. What is important
for you in your future job?
